In order to obtain a position, a job applicant must answer the questions that he or she is asked in the best way possible. This is because the job applicant's goal is to impress his or her potential employer and the best way to impress an employer during an interview is to offer intelligent responses that make the applicant sound like an excellent employee. However, it is important to remember that answering questions is not the only way to impress a potential employer. In fact, it may actually be just as important to ask questions in some cases because asking questions shows the interviewer that you are actually interested in the position. One of the best questions that you can ask at an interview is "What would you like to see an individual accomplish in this position?" This question is extremely useful because it show the interviewer that you are interested in the position and gives you an opportunity to gather information about what your potential employer may be looking for. This will allow you to tailor your responses during a future interview to the goals that the employer is hoping to accomplish. Another good job interview question that you should ask is "What skills do you believe an individual should have in order to succeed in this position?" This question will allow you to gather information about the specific skills that your potential employer may be looking for so you can make sure that you emphasize these skills if you are called back for a second interview. This question also shows the interviewer that you really want the position and that you are not simply applying for it because you can't find anything else.

A third example of a good job interview question that you should ask is "What are the advancement opportunities available to an individual in this position? This question allows you to determine how difficult it is to move up in the company and to gather information about the way that the position fits into the company. This question is also useful because it shows the interviewer that you are really interested in the company and you're expecting to be with the company for a long period of time.
